School holidays are here and Suzie will be running a couple of kids sessions on Tuesday and Thursday next week, including an ocean themed session and a forest themed one. Scroll down to see more information and to book a ticket directly. Suzie is a facilitator with the Gathered homeschool sessions and is wonderful with kids. With limited places across the sessions, be sure to grab a spot!
As we do every school holidays, invitations to play will be left out for little ones to enjoy on different days, depending on the weather and how busy we are. It might be a water play table, play dough or drawing materials left out where small hands can find them.
The farm shop is stocked to the gills with amazing produce right now. It’s all organic and as local as we can get it. This includes carrots, silverbeet (chard), turnips, salad mix, kohlrabi and pak choi from the farm; grapefruit, lemon, orange, lime and avocado from local organic growers; certified organic leek, kale, ginger, lettuce, celery, cauliflower, broccoli, turmeric, zucchini, cucumber, asparagus, beetroot, cabbage, banana, watermelon, potato, sweet potato, pumpkin, onion, parsley, dill and coriander from Maus in Perth. The farm shop and cafe are open every day except Sunday from 7am :)
We have also updated the cafe menu for spring to best take advantage of what’s coming out of the garden and other seasonal treasures that we can use. Check it out next time you stop by and the website will be updated with the new menu soon.

Ducklings have arrived! The first Australian Wood Duck (or Maned Duck) ducklings have appeared for the season, but sadly every year very few survive to adulthood with so many predators around in the form of foxes, snakes and birds of prey. This family is down to one duckling, so fingers crossed it hangs around.

Little things like this seriously makes our day. Thanks so much to Josh and Jayne from Singapore for this lovely and very much appreciated note they left us with last week.
