New Organic Produce and Floral Updates

Explore fresh organic produce and upcoming flower sales

Pale yellow, layered-petal flowers with golden centers bloom on tall green stems, with one unopened bud nearby. Soft-focus green foliage and a few wooden stakes fill the background.

Flowers are everywhere in our lives right now and it is glorious - in the home garden, the community patch on the farm, the market garden and the kids educational garden out the back of Gathered. They’re being planned, planted, pruned and fed, talked about and appreciated. Eventually seedlings and bunches will be for sale through the farm shop too, we’re just waiting for them to grow a bit more. All the flowers have been grown from seed, tubers or bulbs and tended to by Sarah, Hannah and Kyllie on the farm and our eldest both at home and in the Gathered garden. Completely organic and spray free, we can’t wait to get them in the store soon.

From tomorrow (Tuesday) afternoon the farm shop will be well stocked up on a huge range of certified organic and locally grown organic produce - carrot, potato, sweet potato, pumpkin, onion, cabbage, kale, silverbeet, leek, fennel, lettuce, rocket, pak choy, bok choi, celery, asparagus, parsnip, beetroot, cucumber, cauliflower, broccoli, zucchini, mushroom, watermelon, pear, orange, lime, lemon, grapefruit, mandarin, coriander, dill, parsley and thyme.

Customised online orders are still available for a little while longer, where you choose the items and we pack it for you, but soon we will transition to organic set boxes only, including subscription orders. We will keep you posted on when this change will take place, but in the meantime if you want either a custom order or a set price box, have a look at what’s on offer by clicking on the red button at the top of this newsletter.

Colorful flowers bloom in a garden bed, including purple anemones with dark centers and pink, white, and yellow blossoms. A mulched path runs along the right side with green plants in the background.

Lush, crinkled green leafy vegetables growing closely together in a garden bed under bright sunlight. Wooden trellis supports and farm equipment are visible in the blurred background.

The greens are going crazy in the Gathered educational garden at the rear of our building. Silverbeet (or chard), kale, cabbage, lettuce, spinach and herbs all growing happily together, planted and looked after by the kids in our farm sessions.

Several rectangular dessert bars with a dark chocolate top and pale middle layer sit on a metal tray, some cut into portions. Crumbly dark base is visible along the bottom edges.

All our cakes and slices are made in house, like the ever popular gluten free, roast almond caramel slice. Using an old Women’s Weekly recipe as a starting point, we have tweaked it to make it our own and it’s pretty good!
