Winter Veggies and School Holiday Fun

Explore winter produce and holiday activities on the farm.

Two goats stand behind a wire fence while a person holds out a vegetable peel to feed one of them. A metal bowl of vegetable scraps is visible in the foreground, with people’s legs and shoes on the grassy ground.

Welcome to the mid year school holidays! We are open right through, every day except Sundays. There’s plenty of room for kids, dogs, caravans and camper trailers and the cafe will be serving light breakfast, lunch, morning and afternoon tea from 7am. Andrew and Sian of Yeah Wines are open just behind us too, so be sure to check them out - their range of wines is seriously impressive.

There’s nearly always scraps in the cafe kitchen for the goats, just ask when you stop by. The chooks love a visit too and this week we will be refreshing the sandpit toys with a few new trucks and dinosaurs!

The farm shop is fully stocked with winter fruit and veg - all organic and almost all local. Lots of citrus and pome fruit, leafy greens, root veg, spring onion and leeks. Perfect for soups and slow cooked meals.

Assorted fresh produce arranged on a wooden surface, including celery, leeks, potatoes, cauliflower, broccoli, carrots with tops, onions, pumpkin, beets, kale, zucchini, pears, avocados, and oranges. Several red apples and a bag of salad greens are also included.

Pictured here is an extra large fruit and veg box that went out last week. Packed full of seasonal, organic produce.
