Catch up on farm sessions, garden news, and more.

Farewell Sally and Patrick! They are off on a big break to visit family and friends over east, returning in a couple of months. Hannah is stepping in to harvest in the garden while they’re away, so the farm shop will still be stocked in their absence but they will most certainly be missed.

This morning as part of the Margaret River Readers and Writers Festival we are excited to host Renee Treml for a children’s session, before launching into another week of kids farm sessions, sewing groups, Nannas on the Mend, mother’s groups and starting this week, even a regular Dungeons and Dragons catch up for teens.

The garden out the back is taking shape and looking better every week. With raised garden beds, fruit trees and compost bins in, it’s starting to serve its purpose as a place for kids to learn about where food comes from and how it’s grown, as well as to provide herbs and flowers for the cafe.

Did you know we have a wide range of board games and puzzles available to use? Combined with lots of indoor seating and free wifi, it makes Gathered a great spot to pass some time or catch up on emails when the weather turns.

Mason jar filled with a pink-and-white strawberry drink, with sliced strawberries visible inside and a whole strawberry on the rim beside a straw. Muffins on a plate sit behind it on a metal counter near a window with parked cars outside.

Three orange persimmons with green calyxes sit on a bed of dry straw. A fenced garden area and a corrugated metal building are blurred in the background.
