With the Easter holidays kicking off this coming Friday, we are open all our usual hours including on Good Friday and Easter Monday. Gathered is family and dog friendly, with plenty of parking for caravans and trailers. We’re open from 7am most days too!
If you’re staying local these holidays, please consider spending the dollars you would have spent on a trip away on local businesses instead. Small farm shops, cafes and independent retailers are all doing it tough and by choosing to have an amazing staycation, checking out small local businesses, you get the double bonus of enjoying what’s available in your own neck of the woods while also directly supporting your local community.
It’s an ongoing joke in rural areas that there is never more than one degree of separation between you and someone you walk past on the street, and it usually only take a couple of questions to figure out a connection. If you’re local, spending your holiday dollars on getting out and visiting small shops, cafes and tour operators literally means you are helping out if not someone you know, someone who is close to someone you know!
Pictured above is an extra large mixed fruit and veg box packed last week for one of our lovely customers. Absolutely all organic and almost completely local!

A pop up clothes market is coming up at Gathered. Organised by Leila at Oh Lala, with proceeds going to charity. The photo above and following text has been taken from her Instagram page…

The kids did another amazing job in the farm sessions last week. The nine to 12 year olds made two types of focaccia (with spelt flour and gluten free flour), as well as guacamole, salad and almond choc chip biscuits for over 30 people! They get stuck in every Tuesday, making everything from scratch and picking up some invaluable life skills along the way.

Winemaking is still going well into the night, most days of the week. Andrew and Sian of Yeah Wines, and farm manager Luke have been working seriously long hours getting those grapes on their fermenting journey.
