Sweet figs in store, teens cook up gnocchi and ice cream

Beautiful local figs from literally just up the road have been making their way into the shop this week. Available each or by the tray, it’s like eating jam they’re so sweet.

We are open all our usual hours this week, including the public holiday tomorrow, with both the farm shop and cafe stocked up and ready to go. We would love to see you!

The teens did a fantastic job in what was a marathon cooking session this week at the farm. Everything made completely from scratch - potato gnocchi (including a gluten free version), basil pesto and no churn vanilla and choc chip ice cream with chocolate sauce. Each week they’re learning valuable life skills, using seasonal ingredients at their best, with a focus on low cost recipes.
