Heirloom Tomatoes and Sunflowers in Bloom

Every few days, Sally and Patrick are bringing in a fresh pick of heirloom tomatoes from the greenhouse and the outside row of tomatoes which you can see growing alongside the grape vines. You really can’t beat fresh summer tomatoes! Yes, they cost more than their supermarket cousins, but really there’s no competition in the flavour and texture department. The combination of heirlooms is constantly changing so be sure to have a look at what’s on the tables in the farm shop next time you stop by.

Utilising what’s coming out of the garden and available seasonally, the toasties on offer are always changing. There’s a good range on display that’s made fresh every day in the cake cabinet, for enjoying at the farm or lunch on the go. A popular flavour combination at the moment is organic fried eggs, local organic rocket, balsamic mushrooms, pesto and heirloom tomato.

Beautiful flowers grown and harvested by Maggie in the community side of the garden walk out the door as soon as they come in! These bunches were gone in minutes.

At first there were one or two, and all of a sudden there are heaps! The sunflowers are all popping open along the driveway and are looking lovely.
