Carrots and Seedlings Ready This Week

Fresh harvest & new seedlings available now

A hand holds a bunch of freshly harvested carrots with leafy green tops, including bright orange and dark purple carrots with roots still attached. The background shows blurred farm fields under a cloudy sky.

Carrot bunches are back! Harvested regularly from the patch along with cucumber, zucchini, coriander, beetroot, fennel, turnip and lettuce. Supplies will be stocked up from the garden tomorrow morning and Mondays are becoming a great day to stop by for locally grown organic veg.

Shelves under a corrugated roof are packed with seedlings and herbs in colorful pots and black trays. Handwritten labels on the shelves include “Rosemary,” “Thyme,” “Basil,” “Eggplant,” and “Rainbow Swiss chard.”

The seedling stall gets topped up through the week and the variety is forever evolving. At the moment you can find herbs, cucurbits, strawberries, eggplant and silverbeet. All grown from seed or runners by Sally and Patrick on the farm.

A muffin tin with one powdered muffin sits on a counter in the foreground, with a plate holding another muffin and a white mug on a wooden ledge behind it. In the background, a grassy farmyard and rustic wooden fence are visible out of focus.
