This year is racing along at such a pace - it’s only one more week until the spring school holidays for goodness sake! The cafe and farm shop will be open right through the holidays during our usual hours (only closed on Sundays) and we will put out the odd invitations to play inside and out for kids to find. There will also be two school holiday sessions on Tuesday 7 October, which are best suited for kids aged seven to 11, but all ages over seven are welcome. Parents and carers are always welcome to stay too. Places are limited and the sessions tend to sell out quickly.
We will also be holding a clothes swap on Saturday 18 October, with all proceeds donated to Nature Conservation Margaret River and any remaining clothing passed on to Lions Margaret River. Clothes swaps are a lot of fun and you can expect to come away with at least five items and give your own wardrobe a good clean out at the same time. You can find more information on the events and book a spot here.

Look at all the goodness that goes into our muesli slice! We make all the slices, cakes, pickles, chai, chocolate sauce, soups and take home meals using only whole ingredients, starting with what’s available from the market garden on the farm. The range changes with the seasons and what we can source locally, so be sure to check in to see what’s on offer.

Trying to get a photo of a sweetly dozing Tom Tom, but continuously getting photobombed by Sunny and a chicken!

The fig tree decided to start waking up last week, along with the nectarine, peach and plum trees. Stone fruit season will be here before we know it.
