It’s been a busy week at Gathered, with the ABC coming out to the farm to film a story about our weekly community sessions with the Nannas on the Mend, wrapping up the kids homeschool term with a big Japanese meal and preparing for the upcoming school holiday sessions (which you can find more information in this newsletter). We’re also stepping up the daily offerings through the cafe with take home meals, hot soups available for lunch and more in-house baked cakes and slices.
On top of all this, the farm shop continues doing its thing, being topped up most weekdays from the patch on the farm as well as from local organic growers. Lots of citrus is arriving at the moment - mandarins and oranges from Moorfoot Farm, tangellos from Fair Harvest, limes and grapefruit from Margaret River Citrus. All organic and from the Margaret River area, and so super fresh.
And finally, we’re increasing our open hours to include Mondays! Starting Monday 8 July, the farm shop and cafe will be open 8am to 1pm, which means you will soon be most welcome to stop by:
Monday - 8am to 1pm
Tuesday - 7am to 3pm
Wednesday - 7am to 5:30pm
Thursday - 7am to 5:30pm
Friday - 7am to 3pm
Saturday - 8am to 1pm
Sunday closed
The online farm shop continues to be open all hours, seven days a week, for boxes that can be collected Thursday to Saturday. The order cut off time is 8am on Tuesdays. It’s through the online farm shop that you can order set price boxes, like the one pictured here, which was packed fresh for a lovely customer just last week.

Starting this week! It’s our biggest school holiday program yet and some sessions are booking out, but we are adding more to the schedule. Including a second Stencil Artworkshop and a new All About Dragons session. To see what’s on offer, click on the link below.
The popular Kids Create! sessions are back, along with a whole lot of new stuff
Make your own bread for morning tea, visit the animals and plant your own seeds in the Farm Kids sessions; make beeswax candles and kite paper window stars; create your own art pieces with layering stencils; have a go at linocut and block printing or learn how to make marbled paper and your very own clay creatures with air dry clay.
Places are limited to keep the session sizes small and allow the kids to make use of the space. Neurodiverse kids and kids of all abilities are welcome.
