Kids sessions with art, baking, and more this holiday

“School holidays at Gathered” for July 2024 listing kids’ sessions on Tue 2, Thu 4, Tue 9, and Thu 11 with times, ages, and prices. Each date is paired with a small (paper stars, mural figure, pink print, marbled pattern) and the bottom shows the website/email and “401 Walcliffe Road, Margaret River.”

It’s our biggest school holiday program yet! The popular Kids Create! sessions are back, along with a whole lot of new stuff

Make your own bread for morning tea, visit the animals and plant your own seeds in the Farm Kids sessions; make beeswax candles and kite paper window stars; create your own art pieces with layering stencils; have a go at linocut and block printing or learn how to make marbled paper and your very own clay creatures with air dry clay.

Places are limited to keep the session sizes small and allow the kids to make use of the space. Neurodiverse kids and kids of all abilities are welcome.

Bunch of fresh carrots with leafy green tops tied together, resting on a dark wooden surface. The orange carrots have long thin roots and are lit by sunlight.

A loaf of banana bread on a wooden cutting board with two slices cut in front. Banana slices and walnut pieces sit beside the loaf, with a yellow dish in the blurred background.

Organic banana bread made with stoneground spelt flour, rapadura sugar and walnuts are a new item available through the online store. Baked fresh to order in loaf tins, a whole cake will be eight to ten slices - perfect to slice and freeze (if it isn’t eaten beforehand) for kids lunch boxes and to enjoy at home with a cup of tea.
