New Farm Hours and Fresh Thursday Produce

Updated hours, fresh produce, and kids programs

Patrick and Sally are doing an amazing job in the garden, harvesting most week days and dropping it straight to us for stocking up the farm shop. All of it organic, seasonal and as fresh as it gets.

In case you missed it last week, we have new open hours at the farm:

  • Tuesday 7am to 3pm (no change)

  • Wednesday 7am to 5:30pm (now open two and a half hours later!)

  • Thursday 7am to 5:30pm (closing half an hour earlier from now on)

  • Friday 7am to 3pm (no change)

  • Saturday 8am to 1pm (no change).

Wednesday afternoons are definitely the second best time to stop by the farm shop, aside from Thursdays, as it’s when most of the fresh produce has arrived as well as local goat cheese and milk, and eggs. We have all this available on Thursdays as well as another drop off of fresh veg and herbs from the farm’s market garden, freshly baked bread from three local bakers (including gluten free) and a new batch of nut cheeses from Eco Kitchen.

We’re well in to the second term of the school year and the homeschool kids program is in full swing. We offer sessions for kids aged between five and fifteen on Tuesdays and Thursdays and they’re a great opportunity to learn and make new friends - for both the kids and their parents! The morning sessions cover art, literacy and geography and there are also free community sessions on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons with a board game club and community sewing and upcycling sessions with the Nannas. If you would like to know more information, please respond to this email and we will get back to you :)

Covered outdoor patio beside a dark corrugated-metal building with blue chairs and tables, lit by low sun casting long shadows. In the background are grassy ground with large rocks and rows of crops under a clear sky.

Top-down view of three mugs on a rustic wooden table: a white mug with a latte and foam swirl, a teal mug with a small amount of light-colored liquid, and a yellow mug with amber tea. Sunlight casts bright highlights and shadows across the cups and tabletop.
