Organic Boxes and New Shop Hours

Organic fruit and veg boxes ready from May 23.

Assorted produce arranged on a wooden table, including carrots, potatoes, zucchini, pears, apples, bananas, tomatoes, onions, beets, and leafy greens. Also shown are a melon, a halved squash, broccoli, parsnips, ginger, dates, and white turnips.

Pictured here are the contents of our extra large - all organic - fruit and veg boxes last week. The contents of the box aren’t decided until the day they are packed, to ensure we have the best variety and freshest produce. All of it arrives to us the day it is packed, many items are picked from the garden the very same day!

Starting this week, the farm shop open hours are changing slightly:

  • Tuesday 7am to 3pm (no change)

  • Wednesday 7am to 5:30pm (now open two and a half hours later!)

  • Thursday 7am to 5:30pm (closing half an hour earlier from now on)

  • Friday 7am to 3pm (no change)

  • Saturday 8am to 1pm (no change).

Wednesday afternoons are definitely the second best time to stop by the farm shop, aside from Thursdays, as it’s when most of the fresh produce has arrived as well as local goat cheese and milk, and eggs. We have all this available on Thursdays as well as another drop off of fresh veg and herbs from the farm’s market garden, freshly baked bread (including gluten free) and a new batch of nut cheeses from Eco Kitchen.
