New Kids Art Sessions and Monday Coffee Hours

Kids activities, farm visits, and Monday casual coffee.

Bunch of red-and-white radishes with green leaves and long roots resting on a cut tree stump. Small white flowers and blurred greenery appear in the background.

The farm shop is now open five and a bit days a week! The doors are open as usual Tuesday to Saturday (including public holidays) from 7am with the coffee machine on and the shop all stocked up, but now if you’re passing on a Monday and you see a car in the car park, it means someone is there and we would love for you to stop by. We’re keeping Monday open hours casual for the moment, as it’s the day the whole space is given a top to bottom clean, but the shop will be set up ready for the week and you are most welcome to sit out on the verandah with a coffee and watch the world go by.

A flock of ducks walks across a dirt and grass paddock beside a large round metal water tank. Fenced garden beds and tall trees fill the background under a blue sky.

School holidays at the farm! Facilitated sessions for kids aged between 6 and 14 years old. We set up a range of self-guided stations around the room including water colour and acrylic painting, beading and jewelry, upcycled creations, air dry clay, origami, wool weaving, hand sewing and more. The stations include examples and written explanations to suit all ages and abilities, with two staff on hand to help out and supervise. The examples and materials change slightly each week to offer different ideas to keep kids interested and engaged.

The sessions also include a walk around the farm to visit and feed the goats, have a look in the market garden to see what’s growing and kids can plant their own seeds to take home.

The farm shop and farm cafe will be open and you can order morning tea or lunch for the kids, or a coffee and cake for yourself to enjoy on the verandah. Food sensitivities are catered for, with vegan, nut free and gluten free options available*.

The classes are limited to 15 kids per session and bookings are required to secure a spot. Bookings can be made here.

All our art supplies are biodegradable and/or made from recycled materials, even the glitter! Any plastic pieces are sourced from op shops and donations from the community.

*Please note food is prepared in a kitchen where ingredients such as egg, nuts, dairy and wheat flour are handled.
